My name is Morgan Tsetta. I am a 28 year old photographer and filmmaker, from the Northwest Territories, currently living as an uninvited guest on traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.

As an Indigenous artist from Yellowknives Dene First Nation, storytelling is a sacred tradition. And I would love nothing more than to be able to tell your story! When I graduated film school, I knew I wanted to give back to my community and share the education I received, to share the skills I learned, and to just share the stunning beauty of our daily lives.

I cannot even begin to express how amazingly talented and gifted Morgan is. Both my partner and I were pretty nervous about getting our photos taken, but Morgan made us comfortable within moments. She captured our wedding day exactly how we hoped - beautiful genuine and candid images that truly portray our loved ones and our experiences as they are. I particularly appreciated how she took care and time to figure out exactly what our family needed. One of the most absolute highlights was getting a candid smiling photo of a family member who hasn’t had his photo taken in probably 10 years. Morgan is truly a special human who has a true gift for photography. Couldn’t be happier with our choice and forever greatful to have these memories preserved so accurately and beautifully.
